Hoy es mi último domingo en Argentina. The picture was taken on the corner across from our apartment. We've had the most beautiful weather today. It's been chilly & windy, but sunny & bright. I remember the day we arrived was gloomy. It rained and there was a bit of fog. Hm. I can't explain the love I have for this city that's molded me more in three weeks than some places did in several years. Gracias Señor por tu gracia, tu protección y tu mercy. (I'm not sure how to say mercy en español. Someone please help lol.)
My parents just left to take a walk together. I love when they do that. It's so sweet. :) I stopped by a bakery this morning to buy muffins with dulce de leche-filled centers. My mom explained how to make empanadas when I return to the States. My dad joked about me putting pollo in them. I think I'll pass lol.
I'm currently finishing up mi tarea before I leave for the second service. A train is blowing its whistle as it approaches the nearby station. Life in the city is bustling slowly in a way that can only happen on a Sunday afternoon. Man, life is grand.
