Today we traveled as a group to Tigre!! It was a different kind of beauty. The kind that warms your heart then breaks it right after.

We rode a train there early in the morning. It took an hour, so many people went to sleep at some point. We took a pretty cute group picture before we got off at Tigre. (I'll have to see if I can get a copy.) When we got off the train, a cool breeze greeted us with a quick embrace. Too bad we weren't so excited to meet it. We shivered for the first 15 minutes. As we headed to the ferry station, we stopped on a bridge to take pictures of the river & ferries. The murky water somehow gave the region personality. It was a sweet sadness, but it didn't prepare me for what I would encounter moments later.
