MeznG. In the air, on the road, river or sea again
This morning we start the day with Glenn going to the gym, Liz & Milton walking laps of the park and me sitting up in bed catching up on some blogging waiting for the pool to open at 8am. Into the pool we go and it is so refreshing. The sun already is packing some heat. So we stay out for a short while. Today's plan is to move Harvey to his new 5 star location once current people ave gone and then hit the shops. This morning we have breakfast from the cafe but because we want to sit outside we have to have it as take away. We have no issue with that but as Liz is about to pay the lady she says we can go and sit outside and she will bring it to us. This is after telling us they don't do service outside. Our food turns up in big polystyrene boxes, which seems like such a waste when it could have been on plates. Any way it's very pleasant sitting outside. While we are sitting there we noticed that our new location has been vacated so the boys head off to move Harvey. Our new spot is very shady, has grass and is very close to the pool and an amenities block. Once we are set up, all of 5 minutes we shower and get ready to head to the shops. The taxi picks us up at our door and we head to Town Square. During the drive, we have a debate with the driver about certain pronunciations namely Puma and Adidas. He's quite adamant but Liz isn't giving any ground. Thankfully we reach our destination but the issue remains unresolved. Town Square is enormous. It has a central square and streets that run off that square. We have a few missions today. Glenn and Milton need new runners and Liz and I have items to look for. If we can get the men sorted today and we get to do a bit of homework, we can really get stuck into our shopping on Tuesday when the boys go to Tucson. It's so hot. We seek refuge in the shops but the boys are a little titchy especially when we are in make up stores so they head off to look at other things. When we eventually track them down they are comfortably sitting at a bar enjoying a beer. We suggest to the barmaid that she might look after them for awhile so we can go ack to the shops. She is more than happy to do so and they are more than happy to stay.....how surprising. After lunch it's back in a cab to go to the outlet stores. This time it's all under cover and we go our own way in search of what we need. With the boys sorted we get a cab back to our Oasis and the pool. Oh it's so nice and refreshing. After relaxing in our beautiful shady spot and watching the sunset from the pool, its time to clean up and go or dinner, after all it is 9pm. Tonight we go back to the Silverton - next door but decide a cab is the safer way to go. Once again the food is fantastic and service excellent. A great day! Good night Harvey xx
