Spent the rest of the week in Sarnia in a very relaxed manner, the only taxing day being Thursday, when we decided to cross the border to do some shopping (for one thing to buy some T-shirts for Stu as he managed to only bring 2!) We drew up in Sarnia just after six. Our party was to split between two very kind hosts for the next week. First we visited a beautiful apartment at the neck of the Huron Lake. We took a stoll on the beach before having a very nice meal. From here we went along the shore about 15 miles to the "cottage" where we were to stay. Sunday was to be a lazy day, we again went up to Cavendish, but this time spent the morning on the beach. After another picnic lunch we went to the water park "shining waters." WOW! -Edited- Well PEI is very good at providing free internet. Stu went deep sea fishing yesterday with Mum Al and Chez and caught us 7 makeral for dinner. Chez and Al were a bit more adventurous but not as proligic, catching 2 horned monster fishes, a cod (although had to be thrown back due to size) and Chez got a squid, which she named and then refused to eat at our bbq! Hi everybody, Our first journal entry - how exciting! Made our way out to Canada with a few hops along the Atlantic seaboard. Arrived in Halifax and it was raining - just our luck! And there was not a great choice of movies on the plane (much to Stu's disappointment). Mel managed to get her bags searched through both airports, having a knife and a pair of scissors removed!
