Ahoj (pronounced a-hoy)! Prague is our favourite place we have visited so far (after the snow of course). Such a beautiful city with lots of open space, magnificent buildings and good, cheap shopping, not to mention a lack of beggars and crazy drivers!
This photo is from our lunch time cruise down the Vltava river. It included a buffet lunch, 3 drinks and a tour guide. The weather was perfect and we spent most of our time on the upper deck, though it did get a bit cool at times when we went into the shade. We passed through a lock... something I know Deebs and Diiid would have enjoyed after seeing their photos from San Francisco.
We also visited a toy museum and a CHOCOLATE museum! Diiid, you would have loved the toy museum. Don't worry, we took lots of photos for you! I enjoyed the top level most of all... It was completely full of Barbies! It is her 50th birthday this year. I saw one Barbie that I own! Do you remember Skipper? The chocolate museum was very educational but we were a little disappointed that the demonstration area was closed. We did enjoy spending money in the gift shop though!
The rest of the day was spent wandering through the unique shops. I managed to spend the rest of my birthday/Christmas money on a Thomas Sabo bracelet (like we bought for Aunty Anne Maree) and we also bought some new underwear... much cheaper than getting our old stuff washed!
We made it back to the hotel with very sore feet and decided to skip the Contiki pub crawl and settle down to a nice game of Scrabble on our phones instead. Turning 29 has made me old and boring (or experienced and wise do you think?)

Deb It seems like there is food associated with everyone of your adventures. What food will we have when you show us your photos? It should be a lot because I think it will take a long time. Can't wait! I think you might be just getting a little tired not old or boring or experienced or wise. Maybe, pubs are becoming a little like castles and churches......... a lot of them !!!
Kaylene Sorry we missed your call, we were collecting the M, E & E - got home at 2.20am from the airport. They managed to fit all their luggage in the car, so we didn't need that semi-trailor after all. Debbie, would you like to borrow our "bridge zapper" if you are going to collect the travellers - it certaily makes going across the bridge etc much easier?
