24/4 we arrived in Siagon (Ho chi minh city)
checked in to a nice guest house which included free breakfast! whoop whoop! we felt like a relaxing day, so popped down to the local blind association to get a massage (dont worry it was legitimate and the money went to a good cause). Well what can we say, we all had very different experiences! while met was in the corner being beaten like a drum and gropped (thats what it sounded like anyway) Gem was trying to explain that she had sun burn and to be gently and i was getting a towel rub, wouldnt recommend! Overall definately an experience we wont forget!
On the way back to the hotel, i was paying more attention top the pot holes in the pavement when a young lady with a food cart walked straight into me, cutting open my head-great! but it did take my mind of the pain from cutting my toe open the night before! and i wonder why people say im accident prone?
Due to my small incident, we spent the evening in a small coffee shop, which happened to have a massive cinema screen on the top floor, so we chilled with a ice cream sundae and watched cloverfield.
25/4 Today we visited the cu cui tunnels where the vietcong guerillas hid and fought the "american devils" (as the tour guide described them). Met was brave enough to crawl through one of the tunnels, while Gem and i took photos. Once we returned Gem and i ventured out for lunch, had some good beef stew off a small street stall, while Met lazed at the hotel watching brave heart.
Tomorrow we are doing a three day tour to mekong delta which includes a local home stay, and ending in Phnom phen in Cambodia. We will update as soon as possible. Toodle pip x
