When we first saw our boat it didn't look big enough for 10 people let alone 31. But when we went below there we enough beds for everyone. So first we set sail for a reef where we would be scuba diving the next morning. After a couple of hours sailing we arrived at our first stop for dinner which was fish, mash potato and veg. Chilled out for the evening with some drinks.
6.30 rise the next morning for breakfast after which we started preparing for the scuba dive. There was 4 in our group but ended up being 3 after one girl didn't like it. So after running through that basic skills again we made our way out to sea to the reef. We had a visit from the famous Elvis a big fish that stays in the area. In total we were diving for 30 minutes. The reef was beautiful and there was plenty of fish to see. After that we made our way to White Haven beach which was the most amazing place. White sand, super clear water which was warm which was a bonus. Plenty of photos were taken in the few hours we were there. Dinner that evening was Spag Bol which again was lovely. More drinks and games in the evening.
Final day started at 6.30 again. I chose to do snorkelling rather than scuba on this occasion which turned out to be a good decision after following a green turtle around the reef for 10 minutes. The rest of the morning consisted of using the slide, the spring board and the paddle boards that they had on the boat. Got back into the dock Saturday afternoon caping off a great couple days. Probably the new highlight of the trip.
A didgeridoo lesson was the final part of the trip which turned out to be extremely difficult. This didn't stop rich and I buying one though which we got personalised with aboriginal writing about what we have done on our trip. The Whitsunday's after party was in the evening before another early start for our premier bus up to mission beach.
