First Blog!!

Arrived in Beijing after an epic journey. Our first flight was cancelled and when we turned up at the airport for the next flight, we were not even booked in to thａｔ flight so had a bit of a panic and had to wait around for another hour until someone sorted that out for us. Arrived in Beijing 8 hours later than we should have. Mish. Plus i sat next to a Chinese puker. They do not puke quietly.

It took us a little while to work out how to get to the hostel because NO-ONE speaks English. Ha may be an exaggeration but no taxi driver speaks English. Seemed pretty stressful at the time because we were soo tired.

Today is my birthdaｙａｎｄ　ｉ＇ｖｅ　ｓｏｍｅｈｏｗ　ｍａｎａｇｅｄ　ｔｏ　ｃｈａｎｇｅ　ｔｈｅ　ｋｅｙｓ　ａｎｄ　ｄｏｎ＇ｔ　ｋｎｏｗ　ｈｏｗ　ｔｏ　ｃｈａｎｇｅ　ｉｔ　ｂａｃｋ　ｄａｍｎ　ｃｈｉｎｅｓｅ　ｃｏｍｐｕｔｅｒｓ．

Ｔｏｄａｙ　ｗｅ＇ｖｅ　ｖｉｓｉｔｅｄ　Ｔｉａｎｅｍｅｎ　ｓｑｕａｒｅ　ａｎｄ　ｐｒｅｔｔｙ　ｍｕｃｈ just　ｗａｌｋｅｄ　ａｒｏｕｎｄ　Ｂｅｉｊｉｎｇ　ｅａｔｉｎｇ　ｓｔｒｅｅｔ　ｆｏｏｄ　ａｎｄ　ｌｏｏｋｉｎｇ　ａｔ　ｓｔｕｆｆ．　ＢＥｊｉｎｇ　ｉｓ　ＡＷＥＳＯＭＥ．　Ｔｈｅ　ｐｅｏｐｌｅ　ａｒｅ　ｗｅｌｌ　ｃｏｏｌ　ａｎｄ　ｅｖｅｒｙｏｎｅ　ｗａｖｅｓ　ａｔ　ｕｓ　ｂｅｃａｕｓｅ　ｗｅ＇ｒｅ　ｗｈｉｔｅ．This one street was about a mile long of just food sellers (eg goats penis, beetles, starfish, centipede etc).　I do like the Chinese people (oh the text has somehow gone back to normal), they seem friendly and are not pushy if you say you don't want whatever they are selling. We're going out to get our first duck and pancakes now!! Also had noodles for breakfast like Chinese people do iin the movies.

P.s Hels all the chinese people wear matching hats its amazing. I saw a group of about 20 of them wearing the White's white hats!!
