We leave home just after 11:00 in sunshine and have a good journey in light traffic. After a short stop for lunch at Sourton we continue past Exeter and Tiverton into the Exe Valley.

A glitch with Snoopy the sat-nav has us on a detour down a single track lane for 3/4 of a mile but we're soon on the right road again and arrive at the Exe Valley campsite in Bridgetown at 15:40. We park next to Dick& Jan and get set up right next to the river.

Chicken curry for dinner and a few drinks with D&J catching up on each others' news and thinking what to do over the next few days.
