It's been chucking down most of the night and this morning a few tents are being packed away. The campsite is located near a former flour mill. The building is now the home of the campsite owners and on most Sundays they run the waterwheel and invite campers into their home to share the mill's history. It's a bright and sunny morning, but being Good Friday there are no buses so we plan to have a lazy day in and around the site. The river running past our pitch is crystal clear and a pheasant is going around the site looking for breakfast scraps. We leave home just after 11:00 in sunshine and have a good journey in light traffic. After a short stop for lunch at Sourton we continue past Exeter and Tiverton into the Exe Valley. A glitch with Snoopy the sat-nav has us on a detour down a single track lane for 3/4 of a mile but we're soon on the right road again and arrive at the Exe Valley campsite in Bridgetown at 15:40.
