Today, there was definitely a strike or something happening... There were police and soldiers everywhere, there were no taxis (apart from 2), a lot of shops had closed down, and there were twice as many rickshaws as normal. I woke up at 10, which was quite nice, but after a very disturbed sleep but a cold, and a bad back. Today was more of a lazy day. I love my lazy days, staying in bed til gone 2... But I had an excuse this time. I have a cold. A very annoying cold that hurts my throat and makes me sneeze every 5 seconds. So I did stay in bed until 2pm, but after a horrible nights sleep. Last night was a beautiful nights sleep. Apart from the dog waking me up at 8am, hours before I was planning to wake up!! Today I left DNC. After the most horrible night of tossing and turning in the bedroom furthest away from mine, due to a slight (almost fainting) fear of a cat-sized rat in my room. Leaving rat droppings everywhere, including on my clothes. How it got there I have no idea, and I don't really want to find out!!
