Got up and got going around 10am, made a packed lunch and snacks and headed out for our day of fun.
First we went to Cockington Green Gardens which is a place were there are miniature buildings replicated from different countries ie. majestic buildings and landmarks. Was pretty cool, the girls loved it. They went on a mini train ride around the place which was freezing but good.
We then headed to the Black Mountain Telstra Tower. Really cool look-out of all of Canberra and we stupidly decided to go out on the outside platform were we got blown around, the winds were so fast. We had a picnic lunch in the car, out of the cold.
Next destination was the Royal Australian Mint. Wasnt eager to go but was suprised with how interesting it was. The girls loved it and they even made their own dollar coin, which cost $3 each- government has figured this one out!!!
Busy day and ended up back at caravan at around 2:30pm which was better than day before. Girls watched a movie, then we had a hit of tennis and putt putt golf at the caravan park. Not as cold today as yesterday which is good. Charlotte even wrote about her day at the mint and how to make money!!! Still keeping up with school work!
