Well that was a bloody cold night, gail forced winds and rained all night. Forgot how dependent we are on ducted heating, thank god for the electric blankets!!! Anyhow, overall the mattress went well, no crook back yet!!!!
The girls were eager to get up and get going so we confronted the showers, which were better than expected and didnt freeze too much! We then got ready and headed into Canberra and had a look round. Ended up at Questacon, which is like the Scienceworks in Melbourne. Boo loved it and was very interested with how everything worked. Meg was not as into it, but was a bit crook with a tummy bug. The big boy enjoyed it too. Worth a visit if you end up at Canberra. Was good to get out of the cold for a few hours too.
After Questacon headed for a quick restock shop then headed back to caravan. The girls got a bit of cabin fever though so will have to rethink for tomorrow. Way too cold to do any outdoor activities unfortunately.
Overall, good first day in Canberra and starting to chill out a bit.
