Today marks the end of the mountain bike leg. Ive pushed hard over the last couple of days to get to Omeo asap. As I mentioned on yesterday's blog I was a fair bit ahead of where I expected to be. Today followed suit and I pushed hard to make it Omeo this afternoon. A total day of around 70kms! Much of which was on the black stripe, a very hot way of traveling today it must be said!! The real highlight was on the steepest part of the major hill between Benambra and Omeo stepped out an echidna. Very cute little fella who made it across the road unscathed! So another rest day, very much needed, and then Christmas. On that note, wishing all blog followers a very peaceful and enjoyable Christmas and relaxing break, may your time with family and friends be fulfilling, both of your belly and soul!!!!
