A really tough couple of days always has it's reward...four mile hut is exactly that. A beautiful hut, the last standing relic of Kiandra's goldmining days, is a credit to the NSW Nordic Ski Club. The picture tells it all!! First puncture on a long downhill yesterday. I made it to the Snowy Mountains Highway for a fairly makeshift campsite just off the road. Today, on advice from a MTBing ranger(!) I avoided the AAWT and rode the road to Kiandra and my food drop.
