A really tough couple of days always has it's reward...four mile hut is exactly that. A beautiful hut, the last standing relic of Kiandra's goldmining days, is a credit to the NSW Nordic Ski Club. I've had the opportunity for some well-earned r&r and have even had a wash and done some washing!! Small luxuries but definitely worthy. Tomorrow on to Mackeys Hut and the either Grey Mare or Valentines Hut. Last time I was in that region we had 30cms of snow over night in January, fingers crossed that won't be repeated!!
