The picture tells it all!! First puncture on a long downhill yesterday. I made it to the Snowy Mountains Highway for a fairly makeshift campsite just off the road. Today, on advice from a MTBing ranger(!) I avoided the AAWT and rode the road to Kiandra and my food drop. CHOCOLATE & CLEAN TSHIRT!!! even though I packed all of the food drops there is a child-like excitement at the prospect of all the goodys in the barrel. So I currently sit 2km shy of Mt Selwyn and the rejoining of the track proper. The magic moment from yesterday must have been seeing my first pack of Brumbies..amazing!
