We packed up in record time due to the flies and headed into the park. Went to see Anbangbang billabong but the highlight was seeing an 8 inch long stick type insect on the way back. For a change we went to see some really good aboriginal cave paintings.

These last couple of days nearby Darwin has had record night time temperatures. We are getting a bit bored with the heat and this part of Australia. Some part of Oz is missing since we came here ten years ago. The notices, and limitations of all kinds has put a damper on things. The edge has gone - the goverment is now thinking about banning clubs such as the Hells Angels. I cannot help but think that the bikers we saw in Darwin (that were doing a charity ride) were doing so to sway public opinion.

Australia has been good but it is time to move on for a change of scenery. Alice will be different for the short time we are there. Thinking more about the States and then adventure as we hit central and south America.
