Back on the bus at 8am, Mark not good, not eating very uncharacteristic of him! Drove from Chester down through Wales where all the names of the towns are weird and difficult to pronounce, but it is lovely to hear the language spoken, it sounds very musical. Had a short stop at Betws-y-Coed, then headed through Snowdonia national park, popular area for climbing/hiking. Had lunch at a place called Caernarvon, then over the Britannia bridge to the Isle of Anglesey to Holyhead to board the ferry to Dublin. I was dissappointed not to see Wills or Cate on Anglesey Island as this is where they live :). The ferry was great a huge boat, sat with four little Irish ladies who were delightful when we could understand them lol. Once on terra firma we drove to the very regal looking royal marine hotel, but hotel yet (not sure how many times we have said this). Got tea at a local bar and grill, best seafood chower ever and soda bread, crumbly heavy and sweet. Mark up in the night, not well.
