Early start today, we both woke at 6am. Got up, showered and packed and headed to St Pancras station to meet with the Kumuka tour group and board the Eurostar to Paris. 22 people on the tour, Aussies and Kiwis we have met so far. Lovely countryside, you don't even know you are under the English channel. We were met in Paris Nord station by our tour guide Susan and Kevin the driver (husband and wife), who took us via coach to the Novotel hotel, after dropping off our bags went on a guided tour of the city by bus, saw all the major sights, amazing architecture, the buildings are very impressive. Went to French restaurant for tea with group very nice. French onion soup, beef bourginon and salmon. Then had a boat cruise on the Seine, saw all the sights. Onto bus again for more touring, everyone very tired Mark fell asleep on the boat and the bus!!
