29th June Time in Battambang Out today with locals 2 guys on mopeds who took us around local areas first stop another WAT!! Wat Phnom Sampeau. This one is located at the top of hill nice steady climb on foot. Reaching the top our guide is talking about POLPOT and his terror years. He showed us into caves where bodies were thrown dead or alive. very sad place. next stop Wat Banan This has 5 towers like Angkor Wat and the guide reckons it was a prototype mmh we have our doubts still worth a visit. Best stop of the day was a visit to Fruit Farm where we tasted real rice wine 100% proof not too worry we were not driving.
