I was in a great deal of pain with my sunburn so we continued our hunt for accommodation in Ko Phi Phi...finally getting somewhere!
We walked along the coast to Kata beach which is the next beach down. We were going to go across to Phuket town but we got confused by the direction of the buses and kept missing them!! We realised that Karon is actually much bigger than we thought it was! We had lots of invites for massages but passed due to the sunburn!
Kata beach was lovely but was also very busy. The area and town seemed to be more developed and more modern than it was in Karon. After some lunch we caught the bus back. We were glad we hadn't got the bus to Phuket town as it was a very slow bus, he literally drove at about 10mph! We mooched about in Karon again before giving into the heat and heading back to the aircon of our room! We went to the Thai restaurant yet again, not that they are complaining and neither are we!! We have heard very few English accents, in fact we have heard very little English at all!
