We had a bit of a lazy morning, snoozing, packing, playing connect 4 and drinking fruit shakes! We popped into town for a while to have lunch and buy something for dinner for on the train. It was then time to haggle for a cheap tuk tuk to the train station. We were early to the station but the train was already quite full! We had an OK night sleep. We kept waking up cold but it was lovely still being able to hear the waterfall!! Everyone else shared the same view on it being cold!! One couple had to be woken at 10am and they had slept much better than anyone! We pottered around taking photos and drinking coffee before we were served breakfast of egg, toast and jam! Day 1 of our trek! We were collected at 9am by minibus and then collected the other 11 people who would be trekking with us. We then set off with our tour guide, Toon, on board to the tourist police station so that they could confirm who was trekking and all the details! Our guesthouse is owned by a Frenchman so we had a lovely french breakfast! We then set off to explore! The city is very cultural and there are 180 temples here! There were two main ones that we wanted to see so we went to find them! We enjoyed just wandering through the streets as you don't get hassled here for tuk tuks or massages!
