Hey hey...this is the second time I've written this as I just accidently deleted the last post!! GRRRR!
We're still in Toronto..going to the Niagara Falls tomorrow! Very excited! woop!

Yesterday (fri) we explored Chinatown..was very different from the rest of the city..very messy but this was partly to do with the market stalls being on the street. They have a good range of fruit and veg available..but most I had never seen before!
The city is split into different sections so we explored two that we hadn't before. Took it easy on Fri as we were both tired from thurs and my legs were aching!!
We attempted to make dinner..pasta with chicken noodle soup was as extravagent as it got! Food is so expensive out here..thinking it is because we are right in the middle of the city. Hoping some of the smaller places we visit will be cheaper! Have stocked up on noodles as these were on offer..and they filled the empty space in my bag!
We spent the evening by the harbour as there was a live band..with many old people dancing..mother would have fitted in well!!

Two things we've noticed..1 we like..1 is odd....
1 - Pedestrians always have right of way!! Cars have to stop and let you cross the road..even with no crossing or lights! :D
2 - Fire engine sirens sound like the warning sirens from the world wars...very odd..I obviously don't know what they sound like...but mother has informed me well!! :D

Today..(sat) - we woke after a very eventful night..hmmmm!!
at about 12am I was awoken by 1 of our room mates stumbling around drunk and who proceeded to fall over...hehe!!...at about 1am ..I was awoken to him projectile vomiting down the wall..to Marks bed...and down further to where our bags lay! Mark managed to pull the bags out from under the bed but not in time..anyway..it was late so we tried to sleep..despite the smell..and me n mark being squashed in a top bunk, single bed! Not a great idea!
So...you can imagine what this morning involved..lots of shouting at him..even though he didnt understand because he was French..and Mark emptying my bag and him and the owner of the hostel washing my clothes..and attempting to squeeze my bag in the washing machine..it fitted but damaged one of my straps..humf! After a wasted morning..we are receiving refunds for the night and money from sicky boy for a new bag!
I also managed to get a subway out of Mark .. our first yummy meal since the plane food!! Result!
We then proceeded to explore another area of town..this being an older part which had lots of character..as well as dodgey characters! Spent a while wondering..and chilling in parks and observing peoples footwear as I am in need of some new flip flops!!
We then returned to the hostel to put the trusty sewing kit and gaffa tape to use to fix my strap and then chilled...and now here I am!

The weather has been luverly..very hot but comfortable..much better than home..hehe! :P It looks set to be nice for the forseable future as well..woo hoo!!

As I said..we're going to Niagara tomorrow for a night..and then back to Toronto for one night. Will try and update when I can..we're lucky in this hostel becuase its free..and not normally busy!
