We were up at 5am ready to leave Flagstaff to get back to Las Vegas. We managed some time for breakfast and were on the road in good time. We made a few stops along the way, one for Mark to nap as he was tired and to top up on coffee! I haven’t driven this time as they wanted to charge us, whereas last time it was free. Hmmm!
We made it back to Vegas in just enough time to drop our stuff at the hostel and to fill up on petrol before returning the car. We mooched about at the hostel, cat napping and booking hostels further on.
We then went down to the strip to mooch about for the final time. We had to go and see the Trump hotel as Mark now has his book (Donald Trump). We went to see the Lions again at the MGM Grand hotel, and they were very playful and cute! The keeper was playing ball with the lioness and she reminded us of Keano, Spud and Marley!
We mooched about and then made it in time to watch the Volcano show at the Mirage hotel. It was quite spectacular, with coloured water and fire! See pics!!
The Venetian hotel has canals running through it and Gondolas which you can ride on. Inside is like your outside as they have paved walkways and the ceiling is painted like the sky..see pics! Very cool!
We mooched about some more before heading back to the hostel for an early night as we have yet another early morning tomorrow!
