We grabbed some breakfast in the hostel/lodge - it was huge!! We then headed into town to hire some bikes for the day! Was very cheap - only about 15pounds each for the day! Woke up early and went for a walk through the local park. We then made our way to the coach station. We were feeling adventurous so took the train and walked! Today we were both excited as we were going to Canada Olympic Park where the 1988 Winter Olympics were held and where the film ‘Cool Runnings’ was filmed. We took a train and a bus there so we got to see more of Calgary than just the city. You could see the ski slopes long before you got to the park. Spent all day on the bus! Wasn’t as comfy this time but we managed! We slept most of the way from Winnipeg to Regina where we arrived at 6am! Clear blue skies again.
