We had a little disruption in our hotel last night - around 10:30 there was an apparent "medical emergency" at the room directly across from ours. After lots of knocking the police showed up and had to breakdown the door - it was cool watching it through our peep hole - after about 30 tries he finally got the door open enough that he could wedge in a bar to open it the last little way.

After a somewhat meager breakfast at the hotel we left with a rather agressive tour schedule. We started off at Signal Hill and then moved on to Cape Spear and off to the Rooms Gallery in town. While it was cloudy, it wasn't raining so we made out ok. After lunch at a traditional newfie restaurant (Ian had Cod Tongues with Scrunchies) we went over to Petty Harbour. All in all it was a very photographic day as hopefully you can tell from some of the photographs.

After a little power nap at the hotel we headed back out for dinner at one of the local sports bars (Used to be a Don Cherry bar) and back to the hotel. Based on scheduling, we decided to pre-book our hotel in Grand Falls for tomorrow night so that we can drive the nearly five hours from St. John's to Grand Falls.

All continues to go well. We're all enjoying the sights and we're looking forward to more - Stay tuned.
