We arrived in Koh Samui after a short two hour boat trip. We hadnt booked accomodation so when we arrived we got a bus to the biggest beach on the island - Chaweng Beach. We walked along the beach under the hot sun with our heavy bags and asked all the resorts if they had rooms. Most of the rooms said no. We asked quite a few and when we were almost ready to give up, we found some beach bungalows owned by two English guys. They were a reasonable price and we got a big room. We were only here for two days and we spent most of the time on the beach! Other than that I had my first jet ski ride which was so fun but scary and I screamed so much. Mark drove most of the time and he went soo fast! It was fun as we flew off the big waves and came down with a big bump! Mark managed to lose his cap and wasnt happy! At night we ate on the beach were the restaurant was lit with fairy lights and candles. We sat/laid on sun loungers and relaxed between courses. We also went to one of the many bars on the island. It was called the Hardcore Bar - we had a cocktail each and played several games of Connect 4 with the barmaid! It was a pretty equal match. It was fun and a bit surreal, you cant really imagine that happening in England! We had an early night that night and were in bed by midnight as we had to get up before 6am to catch a bus and boat to the other side of Thailand.
