Ein sehr sehr shon stadt! For those that are out of practice with their German, that means a very very beautiful city. In all the big cities I have visited I have not found one with an air of sophistication that seems to wisp around in Vienna. Although Vienna does not fit the bill for a city that I would typically be interested in because of its lack of mountains and or the sea, I was suprised to be intrigued by this fine city.

Of course this might also have to do with the fact that finally I somewhat understand the local language. With 4 semesters of German in University I was glad to be able to understand atleast a little, although it will take still some time for my vocabulary to get built up again.
