Sawadee
The weather was kind to us for our 1 1/2 hour crossing from Koh Tao to Chumphon today. Although a bit drizzly the sea was calm and the catamaran was bang on time.
Once in Chumphon we had to wait for an hour before we got on the bus bound for Bangkok. The bus ride to Hua Hin was only 4 hours and we passed through lots of little towns on the way but did not get to stop to try any food at the food stalls!!!
We rolled into Hua Hin at 5pm and there was the usual gaggle of Tuk Tuk drivers offering their services to take you wherever you want to go, in our case it was the Chada Guest House. For 100THB about 1 pound 40p we were whisked off to our guest house, tuk tuks are a bit pricey but are good fun.
Both of us were really excited about the Guest House as we knew it had a toilet that flushed and a HOT shower. This was a real highlight as we had not had a hot shower since leaving Malaysia a week ago!!!
Just stepping out to check out the night market tonight and have a general look around so will report back tomorrow.
Lots of Love
