Set off this morning on the Queen Charlotte Drive to Nelson, the views on the way were amazing rolling hills and beautiful bays that took your breath away. Needless to say we stopped off plenty along the way for photo opportunities and to take in the views.

We arrived at Nelson for lunch time and the weather was on our side again, it was warm and sunny so we decided to hike up the mount to the central point of New Zealand. The views at the top of the mount were great which allowed us to recover from the hike, although we must be getting fit as we hiked it in no time at all.

Following this we wandered around the town and visited the place where the ring used in the Lord of the Rings films was made. Although they actually had 40 rings to allow for all the different scenes and ring wearers.

We are now in our hostel eating free, yes you heard me correct FREE chocolate pudding, I love this place we keep getting free puddings, it's like I am in heaven.

Tomorrow we head further south so fingers crossed we get good weather and more free food!!!
