We had a busy last day in Bangkok. First we had to find somewhere to stay..which took longer than we thought, we were like Mary and Joseph asking if there was room at the inn, but luckily we didn't have to sleep in a stable!
Laura then had a much needed haircut, which turned out to be a wash, blowdry, wet hair, cut and blowdry again - but wasn't bad for about 5 pounds (that's a first)!! After we collected our Cambodian and Vietnamese visa's, it was time to head for some last minute sightseeing. We went to Chatuchack Weekend market, which was ENORMOUS, you have a map to help you find your way around and it sells everything from handbags to puppies and from antiques to T-shirts. After a couple of hours though we were so hot, we decided to head into Siam for some refreshment. But it was soon time for more shopping; heading over to Pantip Plaza (CD's, DVD's, Computers, electrical etc) and to Platinum Fashion Mall (just lots of clothes) but the fashion here was most definitely for Thai girls, who are a lot smaller than us, so we just window shopped here! That night we went to one of Bangkok's Cinemas at the very swish Paragon shopping mall, to watch Fun with d*** and Jane, which was really funny. We were a little confused, however, when we all had to stand before the film started, to sing the national anthem!
