After our flight back to Bangkok, we spent a few hours in the capital before heading down to Krabi in the south of Thailand. We caught an overnight bus, which luckily turned out to be really nice! Big reclining seats, tv and refreshments! Even Rob was impressed when they turned on the football! So, after a suprisingly good number of hours kip we arrived in Krabi, then boarded a mini bus, ferry then truck, before we arrived at Bamboo Bay, at the southern tip of Koh Lanta. It was everything we expected it to be; white sand, blue sea, wonderful weather and great Thai hospitality.

Sorry for the lack of scenic photos...but we enjoyed a few days of pure relaxation! Not a temple in sight!

We stayed at Bamboo Bay resort,one of only three hotels on our beach, which was wonderful. Our bungalows, clung to the mountains and had great sea views; great preparation for another few days in Bangkok, and just what Mum and Rob needed before they headed back home.
