When we woke up a hangover cure was required so we headed down to the Waitrose to pick up the ingredients for bacon rolls, much needed.

We then headed to Ferrari world, located again on Yas island and which houses the world's fastest roller coaster. This was our first stop for Andrew, Jennifer and Isobel, while Mandy and Neil hung out in the outdoor viewing area. The coaster gets up to 240km an hour!

We spent the rest of the afternoon trying out all the other simulator rides etc. which, to be fair were mediocre at best, but the day was fun none the less. We also went on a romantic "car" ride around “Italy” which was highly amusing, particularly when Neil got a small Indian child placed in his car with him.

For dinner we headed to one of Jennifer’s favourite restaurant, Olive Garden, which had just opened this evening. It was packed full since it was the opening night, but the food was good and the service was amusing.

When we got back to the apartment, Andrew spent the next hour trying to get through to Lufthansa, as we had just found out they are on strike on Monday and our Frankfurt- Aberdeen flight has been cancelled- oh no!
