Saturday 16th April

Jan wanted to see the Observatory so I decided to spend the day wandering on my own. I caught the bus to Bondi Beach - it was a beautiful day and the beach was really busy. There was a huge Yoga event in the middle of the beach with hundreds of women taken part. Dylan had his photograph ttaken with some of the lifeguards and I walked along the front from the South to the North Harbour - I absolutely loved it.

I caught the bus up to Watsons Bay a really pretty seaside town. I bought an ice cream and eat it on the beach in the sunshine while I waited for my ferry back to Circular Quay. The ferry ride was fantastic - it stopped at Rose Bay on the way back. When we got back to the Quay I wandered around the Rocks market which had some excellent stalls. I jumped back on a ferry to Darling Harbour. The Harbour was 'buzzing' with lots of people, boats and music. I walked right along the Harbour and through to Paddy's Market and China Town.
I walked to Queen Victoria Buildings a posh shopping mall where I met up with Jan. we went back down to the Rocks for an evening meal and then met up with Sue and Glenda for a drink before heading back to our hotel. Another fab day.
