Flight from gerona at 0730 arrived Alghero at 0830. Had a nice walk around the battlements on the coast near the Harbour. Then had a walk around the historic centre calling in at the tourist office for info. On the area. Had breakfast in the main square the drove on the coast road to Bosa a most spectacular drive. We book into our hotel on the rio Temo called palacios di Pischedda. ( approx) Good price ( 63 euros ) good breakfast and comfortable room together with really pleasant staff.we had lunch in the old part of Bosa called Bougo di San Ignacio. Mussels and clams in a basil and tomato sauce was excellent followed by a 700 gram Dorada.
Watched the England v Sweden game in the town accompanied by a not too good supper.
