Drove around the northeast corner stopping many times at places such as Porto Rotondo Porto Chevo etc. had lunch at a surf bar in Cabo Pollo before making the drive to the airport at Alghero. Good trip highly recommended

The owners of the hotel recommended a walk a 6k round trip past two beautiful bays which leads to a british burial ground were we found a grave of a 18 year old sailor who died from dysentery in 1900. He served on the HMS Vulcan a torpedo boat and his name was George Bradshaw. We will endeavour to find his history. Back to the hotel at 1000 for breakfast and said our goodbyes for our journey north.

Drove to Orasei ( no mean feat ) for a highly recommended lunch at La Taverna which was probably the worst meal we have ever had. I don't know what the pig suckled upon but we were certainly suckered. The day got worse when we booked a hotel in olbia a 100k drive only to find out that there is also a province of the same name and the hotel was 100 k from whence we came. After a light breakfast in the garden we left Bosa to drive to Oristano and stopped to look at this fantastic Nuraghe which dates back more than 3500 years and served as a centre of a community 3000 years. I believe there are around several hundred in Sardinia. Arrived after another lovely drive to the beaches of Oristano within a protected national park. Checked in to la Pedrera a ranch-like hotel.
