Up early after the grand disco with shivers,sore joints and massive headache. Unfortunately the onset of flu. Played the last match with difficulty and lost not surprisingly. Roy played really well but was let down my his team. Decided not to stay with Paul and Elise as Elise is pregnant and would hate to pass on the virus. Roy and Neva took us to the airport in Edinburgh and we booked into the Quality Inn and bid our farewells. The hotel gave us a late check...

That's Nana, Roy and Irene Duncan dancing the night away. Nice meal good company and we may have redeemed the family name after the curling. One more game in the morning and then off to Edinburgh until we fly back late Monday.

This is on a adjoining rink so I still have a chance if I can borrow a wheelchair. I forgot to say ( or did I ) that Nana is doing better than me yet again

Our nightmares came true and we lost our first match. The second match was a little closer until the 4 th end when we lost by four stones losing the match five to two. I guess a 32 year break was to much for us. One more chance tomorrow and there's also the disco tonight which we may win.

Said our goodbye's to Diana Joyce and Stewart in Aberdeen and drove to Kinross for the big curling match. After cocktails and opening dinner then further drinks we turned in around midnight for another nightmare ridden sleep involving curling in hell and over cliffs. Pic is our skip wondering how on earth he is to win or at least not to come last. He has a difficult task and could be the end of a long friendship. At least Neva will still talk to us.
