Our final day in Cusco, was one spent relaxing and sorting ahead of our journey to Lima. As you can imagine, there was some laundry to be done after four days on the Inca Trail so we paid for that to be done, grabbed some lunch and headed back to the hostel to upload photos and speak to family and friends.

After picking up our amazing smelling washing, we got ready and were meeting up with the majority of our group from the Inca trail for a few celebratory drinks. I think it's fair to say that we had all been looking forward to sitting in a warm, dry bar having a few beers and smelling far better than we had on the Inca Trail.

We had a really good night and surprisingly, it wasn't too heavy and we were back at the hostel for midnight. It was a shame to say goodbye to everyone we had shared the past four days with but we were heading north whilst everyone else was heading the other way. Hopefully, we may catch up with them sometime in the future. Now for the 21 hour bus journey to Lima!!!
