Crossed the border into Italy and an hour later had our first pasta ( ravioli and spaghetti). The people have been very friendly and there are many Lycra clad males zipping about.
Acqui Terme is beautiful and Bru has found the perfect bar, free food and large measures. Highly recommend La Lacia, where we stayed, the owners are lovely. Sat outside late in the evening surrounded by trees and owls.
