Flight to Pisa international was delayed by an hour due to luggage issues. There was a taxi rank outside the airport. There was a fixed fee of 9 Euro to take us to the tower. Well worth the visit with the usual selfies. We then caught a taxi to the train station to catch our train to Prato. I had already got the ticket on line so it was just a case of catching the right train. Very good value for money, the hour and half trip cost 8 Euro. Our hotel was only an 8 ...

Arrived at Pisa international Airport. Flight took an extra hour due to a problem with the luggage. Sat on runway playing cards. Arrived in Pisa and got cab to the tower. Fixed rates, 12 euro from airport to tower, well worth it. Took loads of selfies and made way back to the train station.All was going well then there was a problem with the line .Took 80 min with no Air con, no fun. Got back to Prato And found a good local to watch the Argentina/ eurogwiy game ,...

Took the day off work to pack my bike up with all the luggage I could in preparation for it’s transport to Manchester. I had to remove the screen and top box to enable the bike to fit into the stillage at Eurobiketrans. Tony Baker sent me a photo of it’s safe arrival and informed me they were about to bubble wrap it prior to its journey to Prato, Italy. We are due to meet up with it again on Monday 2nd July. Then it will be on to Rome.

Beautiful scenic ride through Switzerland's countryside (we have put offers in on 127 houses). Saw Heidi skipping thru the fields, then we had to nip thru part of France again, cue Deliverence music again, absolutely deserted. Finally found a bookies open for a drink.
