Took the day off work to pack my bike up with all the luggage I could in preparation for it’s transport to Manchester. I had to remove the screen and top box to enable the bike to fit into the stillage at Eurobiketrans. Tony Baker sent me a photo of it’s safe arrival and informed me they were about to bubble wrap it prior to its journey to Prato, Italy. We are due to meet up with it again on Monday 2nd July. Then it will be on to Rome.

Day 1 - made it to Portsmouth without getting lost, however Google maps said 189 miles but by the time we got there the trip meter said 272. Bru says he deliberately took the scenic route via Gatwick.
