Flight to Pisa international was delayed by an hour due to luggage issues. There was a taxi rank outside the airport. There was a fixed fee of 9 Euro to take us to the tower. Well worth the visit with the usual selfies. We then caught a taxi to the train station to catch our train to Prato. I had already got the ticket on line so it was just a case of catching the right train. Very good value for money, the hour and half trip cost 8 Euro. Our hotel was only an 8 ...

Arrived at Pisa international Airport. Flight took an extra hour due to a problem with the luggage. Sat on runway playing cards. Arrived in Pisa and got cab to the tower. Fixed rates, 12 euro from airport to tower, well worth it. Took loads of selfies and made way back to the train station.All was going well then there was a problem with the line .Took 80 min with no Air con, no fun. Morning visit to Intra further up the lake. It was Sunday, everywhere was shut apart from the cafes so we ended p eating again. Later we were rained off so we spent the afternoon playing 1010 and eating crisps.

Ok so today we are near a lake somewhere in Italy, don't know which one but it's not Como.
