After breakfast (Maggi instant noodles!), we packed our tents and started our 10-hour journey to Switzerland.
On the way we stopped twice, the first time for lunch (still in Italy) and the second for prayers (already reaching Switzerland).
It was a scenic view once we were in Switzerland. The mountains, the lakes, the cute houses...
Just 40 minutes before reaching the campsite, our coaches stopped by a scenic lookout view of the Swiss Alps. The view is simply breathtaking!
We reached the Schutzenbach campsite in Lauterbrunnen town and the best part of this location is, it is overlooking a huge waterfall! We can also see the snow-capped mountains.
For our stay in Swiss, we upgraded ourselves to cabins cuz it may get too cold at night. However, due to limited cabins, some of us had to stay in dorms (for 8 and 25 people).
At first we were unhappy about it, but then it turns out to be a blessing in disguise because the ladies' toilet and bathroom + laundry room is right below; and at least we still get proper beds to sleep on!
That evening, while the crew prepares our dinner (mee kari tuna a.k.a. Laksa Johor the European version); we started to explore the town of Lauterbrunnen from the campsite by foot.
We passed the little town, through the houses and made our way towards the waterfall. It is a few hundred metres high. We could also climb up to go under the waterfall. The view in Lauterbrunnen is just serene and beautiful.
Got back to our campsite by nightfall (around 9pm), had dinner and went to sleep.
