From Rome, we made our way to Pisa. The journey took us about 5 hours and for once we arrived at our campsite (Camp Torre Pendente) in the early evening. After breakfast, we took the free shuttle service from Camp Tiber to Prima Porta train station just about 5 minutes away. At the station we bought a €4 day ticket (unlimited ride on bus and train all day) and took a 25-minute journey to Flaminio station (the last station). After packing up and leaving Venice, we took a 3-hour bus ride to the Florence (or 'Firenze' in Italian). We stopped by a park just before the city of Florence for lunch and prayers.
