Packed and left the campsite by 9.30am after breakfast, leaving The Netherlands to head to Germany.
We stopped for 45 minutes near a petrol station to relieve ourselves and have lunch - a delicious meal of nasi goreng ayam.
Interesting notes on Germany: to enter the toilet at the petrol station there, we'd have to pay 70 sen, but we will get a 50 sen voucher to spend at their shop. Clever ey?
But the toilet is definitely high tech where everything is automated and handsfree, even the toilet seat cleans itself after you flush.
Another thing: their highways are called Autobahn and cars and motorbikes are allowed to go as fast as they want (unless otherwise stated).
We went to Frankfurt, stopped at the iconic Euro sign at the Euro Bank Tower, the background used for Bloomberg finance reporters.
Frankfurt is a business city, not so much on tourism. We were let loose for an hour plus to roam around the city. We went to a huge Adidas store (the brand is from Germany) but unfortunately the price is quite expensive or almost the same as in Malaysia.
Got to our campsite in Fussen and put up our tents in the rain. Thankfully it wasn't that cold in Germany!
Dinner tonight: tom yam ayam. We helped out with the chopping and stuff. Feels like Hari Raya!
