Well we got away about 9:30 and travelled a very peaceful 2 hour drive to Queenscliffe south of Geelong. We took the car ferry to Sorrento...drove up at 10:50 and got on the 11:00 ferry...very lucky! Then a 2 minute drive up the hill to our hotel....very nice. We got to check in right away after a quick wine/beer at the bar with john and Meryl. I walked to town for a few supplies then went for a long walk on the beach...quite hot today. The rest of the crowd came...

After breakfast we went for a walk twice around local lake, explored the gym and sauna/spa which were very nice...then had a game of outdoor chess....fred thought he was in the lead but I had him trapped in the eons...good game...haven't played for ages! I updated my blog then we head into town to get some scripts filled and look for new sandals....I got a nice pair of sketchers at half price! Better luck next time for fred! Our tom to, must have something saying try every country road you can find and stay away from major roads cause that's exactly how we got to ballerat! Pretty flat and boring countryside but safe journey. Stopped at a quaint general store in glenlyon for lunch....typical country store...had restaurant, lots of neat antiques, pickes, hand made jams, local wines, etc....very nice! got to our time share in Ballarat and it is absolutely beautiful...very very old...on ...

Well we got up and I phoned Toyota man....he said he needed rest of key and thought our problem was the immobiliser in the key...engine is just fine...what a relief! So john drove me down and Toyota man showed us it was working...left car with him to speak with locksmith. He called me at 2 to say locksmith fixed key and made me a spare which would never break! So we went golfing with the Pacific Harbour crew....played with Glenda and Rod and had a great game..not...

Well day started off perfect....out of Canberra early...first stop Gundagai for coffee at Lille cafe....back to 50's.....tom tom took us through minor roads....all was good until we stopped for lunch at a little town called urana....car would not start....I broke key trying....got a guy to look at it and he said the timing belt was faulty...well I replaced that a month ago...fought with RACQ and NRMA to get a tow to Cobram where there was a Toyota dealer....got t...
