Fred and I had visited here on day off so cool we played here. It was pouring as we all entered the bus and many of us were not going to play, but by the time we got to other side of island it cleared so 75% of us played. We had a great day of golf with john and judy at Monash Links...we did well but not great!!! Very hard course but lovely course and lovely weather. Had drinks and presentation at golf club...no winnings for us today! Went home and very tired so went with Liz to get a pizza and ate it at our hotel by the fire...got very windy and rainy....bed early as golf again tomorrow

Had breakfast at our hotel then took off to explore Mornington Peninsular.....first drove to Portsea and drove to Point Nepean...then had a look around view from Portsea Hotel... then we drove to Cape Schack and found a golf course that is building a new hotel behind it...looks luxurious...approx 500 rooms....then drove to Cape Schanck and walked to light house and climbed up to a majestic view site....then we went for a walk to Bushranger Bay lookout and back......

Well we all had an early breakfast at hotel and headed off for St Andrews golf club. The guys all played together and the girls did too. Pauline and I were partners and we played with Meryl and Judy. Was a real tough course and so many hills and steep climbs...like a four wheel,drive journey...and was a challenge to find the red markers...on the 9th we could not even find the markers so went to the green and drove back up the fairway to the start! Well we got away about 9:30 and travelled a very peaceful 2 hour drive to Queenscliffe south of Geelong. We took the car ferry to Sorrento...drove up at 10:50 and got on the 11:00 ferry...very lucky! Then a 2 minute drive up the hill to our hotel....very nice. We got to check in right away after a quick wine/beer at the bar with john and Meryl. I walked to town for a few supplies then went for a long walk on the beach...quite hot today. The rest of the crowd came...
