Easy drive to Canberra...stopped half way at Ealing Forest cafe wine cellars for an excellent coffee and croissant...highly recommend...yes I succumbed to buying a bottle of their reds as well!!! Lunch at the library in Canberra...excellent...lovely venue with heaps of bright and beautiful stained glass windows...they had two exhibitions there which were great...then a tour of Parliament House...went in both senate and House of Commons...very few representatives there and boring but got the picture....finished up with war museum which was fantastic...stayed for reading of the ode and last salute...very emotional...they pick one soldier every day to talk about....so sad! Staying at best western thanks to quantas points and then off to meet all the pacific harbour friends at tookunbul..or whatever...tomorrow...looking forward to a game of golf!!! And of course meeting up with all!!!
