We reluctanly left Lake Tekapo today to head for Christchurch on our last day on the Magic Bus!! :-( We stopped for the best bacon & eggs in New Zealand at Geraldine (reminded of you somehow Dad!!) and carried on to the Antartic centre where we saw some Blue penguins, had a ride in an Antartic Hagglund (all terrian amphibious Antartic vehicle) and also got to experience an Antartic storm!! Today was FANTASTIC!!! We left Dunedin to head to Lake Tekapo and stopped at the steepest street in the world (According to the Guinness Book of Records), then to the beach to see the Moeraki boulders, known for their spherical shape!!! We left Queenstown early to make our way to Dunedin, which is supposed to be the Scottish city in New Zealand!!! We passed through the beatiful scenery of central Otago and carried on for an early finish at Dunedin!! Hello all!! Today we had a bit of a look around Queenstown and went up to the Gondola to see the views and ride the luge!!! Queenstown is lush I wish we had longer here!!! We did a jet boat ride down the Kawarau River which was a great laugh, especially when we were doing doughnuts and getting soaked!!! Hello!! oh my god last night was not a good idea!! Throwing up on a bus with 50 odd strangers is not good!!! Managed to recover though to see a Kea (Alpine Parrot) sitting on the edge of the tunnel through the mountains which reminded me of Lord of the rings!!! We stopped for piccies at Lake Wakatipu and Te Anau finishing up at Milford Sound, which is actually a huge Fiord! We caught the ferry for a cruise on the Fiord and saw dolphins, seals and spectacular view...
